A Notebook: On the Organization of Natural Data: Explorations of the Application of Fractal Dimension & Ancillary Calculations to Estimate the Center Point from a 3X3 Grid of Actual Topographic Data
The book presents a paradigm shift from the common view that there is a limited ability to interpolate within datasets of natural data. The assumption that interpolation requires a stochastic approach based on datasets with many data points, appears to be unfounded. In many of the cases presented, the calculations provide what appear to be truly exact results. There are however situations, when the existing formulation appears to have limitations.
There is a reasonable possibility that the equations identified in this book can be used in other fields of physics. If confirmed, a new concept of how natural data is organized has been identified.
